Moments from the trail
A few moments from our outings around Atlanta and North Georgia, with a note on what each place is like to get around. Tap any photo to see it larger.

Working the raised beds together in the Unity Garden, which grows fresh vegetables for families in need in North Fulton.

Stacey, our founder, with her catch. No boat needed, though the rocky bank takes careful footing.

Stacey and Josh between the raised beds. The mulched paths are soft but uneven, so a cane helps. Docents also lead groups through the wildlife and raptor exhibits.

A riverside overlook along the wide, flat trail that follows the Chattahoochee.

A paved path along the Chattahoochee and out over the marsh, where great blue herons nest. Flat new decking links it to the nature center next door.

Two outdoor 18-hole courses beside the Aurora Cineplex, so a round of putt-putt can end with a movie inside.

Wide, mostly paved and shaded, with gentle grades. The boardwalk sections can be slick after rain.

A flat, open lawn with chairs around the fire ring, so everyone has a place to sit and settle in.

Water spilling over the old mill dam. Expect some stairs and uneven ground on the way, and it’s worth it.

Know a place we should explore?
A garden with smooth paths, a lake with a flat loop, a quiet bench with a view. If it made getting outside easier for you or someone you love, we’d love to hear about it. Your favorite spot could be our next outing.
